Hi Bill, Kaye again. I have contacted the Mellenders, the French's, the Robinette's and the McDonalds, and Ivory Young either directly or through my Mom. I told them to check out the website. Has anyone thought of posting something on Classmates.com?

Hi Rich, Glad you're coming. Kaye (Mills) Glassman's husband Stan is a Harley fan too and worked at the dealership in Manassas when they lived here. Some of the things everyone can do to help is to get communication going among ourselves here and in private emails, phone calls etc. Maybe you have some old pictures, programs, videos or other memorabilia that we can use for display or for the DVD that is being discussed?

I'll start digging through the boxes and see what I can find and then let you all know. Is Shawn active here? I've been in touch with him via AOL IM for years until my company finally blocked all IM use through their firewall. Rich

Hi Rich, Good deal! Shawn is active on the committee and is using his personal contacts to get in touch with people. Not sure how often he checks into the message board here though. Here is his email address.....shennesy@aol.com Bill

Thanks for the email about this site, Bill... I live in Pompano Beach, FL now, but will certainly check my calendar and do what I can to make it up for the reunion... Are we all really as old as we are? Where does the time go?

Are we all really as old as we are? Where does the time go? Sometimes high school seems like a long time ago and other times just like yesterday. I have a 6th grader who just auditioned on clarinet for the Robinson band. Walking through the doors of the band room over there is like walking into a time warp. Looks pretty much the same and the VA Beach banner is freshly cleaned and still displayed. Have to remember to be Dad instead of 16 again.

Hello everyone! I also enjoyed reconnecting with several of you at Mr. Lunsford's funeral. I am also looking forward to the reunion in August. I have been back in the area after short times in KY and MD. I am also back in Fairfax County Public Schools -- this time as a teacher of first grade out in Herndon. My sister and I live in Fairfax (near parents) and regularly root for Robinson football/band accomplishments.

It's hard NOT to realize how old I am now... my "baby" is entering his senior year in high school (he's played the trombone and baritone in the band since 6th grade), was just named co-captain of the band, AND just bought his first car!!! Arghhhhh!!! Seems like only yesterday, it was ME entering MY senior year in high school!!!
I am also a teacher now... I teach 2nd grade in Boca Raton, Florida...
I hope to make it up for the reunion!

Hello Everyone,
This is Cecilia, I am the youngest of the "Gould Clan". Looking forward to the reunion and catching up with old friends. May drag "Ma" Gould with me in case anyone gets hurt! I can remember so clearly my mom packing that huge box with medical supplies before every Band Camp. Ahhhhh, the memories and the stories I heard! Whatever happened at Orkney.......Stays a Orkney........right?!
See you all soon!

I remember Orkney well and still love to go over there....They have a fabulous Summer concert series that goes into the Fall...Shenandoah Valley Music Festival. I was sorry to miss 1st Reunion , but would love to come to next! Keep me on the list. I live in Charlottesville Va now and anyone who comes down here should look me up. I would love to see more old photos. My fondest memories were of Mr. Lunsford yelling at us with Love and I will never forget the Parade of Champions...that was great Fun...
