Hello all!
Thanks to everyone who came out for the reunion - or should I say the FIRST reunion. We're already talking about the next one!
We'll get pictures online as soon as we can.
Start thinking about August 2007 and we'll make the next one even better!!
Cheers, Craig Dykstra

Craig (and the whole reunion committee),
I had a blast. People who don't know me very well always ask if it was worth it to travel out to Virginia from California for a party. "Hell yes" is the response I always give. A lot of us have done a lot of things since the mid-70s, and I love to catch up on who's where and doing what and just how everyone is.
I don't talk very much, but I'm grateful to the committee for all the hard work in putting this on, to Craig for hosting it at his wonderful home, and to everyone who attended.
I hope to see y'all next year.
Primo

Primo, I imagine you were the one who came the most distance -- from California? Did anyone top that?
Hats off to Craig and the reunion committee -- what a turnout you had! Thanks for the picture (and upcoming ones) and again I hope to come next year if you plan a 2nd one.
All the best to you & all those great band-affiliates --
Barb

Remember hanging our bras out of the houses at band camp, and stacking all the coke cans (hundreds) at the top of the stairs only to push them down the stair in the wee hours of the morning? Mr. Cassidy ( formerly known as Sherrif Cassidy) made us run laps around the field in the pitch black of the night! just having a high school moment.. k.. i am going to bed ya'll i cant stay up all night. !

Hey Robin! Thanks for the memories. Here are two photos of the cans you mentioned. I'm sorry to report that I have no photos of the bras. The first image is your basic "push 'em down the stairs" can stack. The second one is the more ingenious "can stack booby trap" with a support stick tied to the front door. The unwitting victim (intended to be Sheriff Cassetty but he never cooperated) would open the door, pulling out out the support and resulting in the noisy welcome fanfare. Cheers, Craig. www.ramsreunion.com/Images/orkney cans 1.jpg[/img] www.ramsreunion.com/Images/orkney cans 2.jpg[/img]

Craig, just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a great time on Saturday. It was odd to combine the reunion with my trip to Virginia Beach (visiting family) and seeing (for the 1st time since Robinson Marching Band trips) some old sights!
Can't wait until NEXT year's party!
