Hey all -
The reunion is now just six short weeks away!
We're hoping to make this one even bigger and better than last year. Drop us a note with your ideas, suggestions, or just say hello.
If you haven't already, make your plans now to attend. More information will be posted on the website about the event.
Hope to see you here! Craig Dykstra, '76

I heard a great time was had by all last year. I am almost certain I will make the event this year and most likely will be joined by my wife, Karen, depending on any unforeseen events that may pop up.

Hey everyone, I am looking forward to seeing everybody in August. I just wish I could have made it last year. I'm glad that you are doing it again. I needed a second chance. Those of you who may now remember me, I was the nerdy baritone player with the '50's style hair. I looked perfectly comfortable on '50's DAY. See ya, Joe Cofer '71-'76

Hello Craig and "The Committee"
I assume that this year's reunion will again be held at Castle Dykstra? Last year, I swear, I saw the House and thought it was the local country club..started looking around for valet parking..will Richard "Primo" Johns motorcycle in from California this year? Will Jim Vogel show up? I'll try to keep Bob Starkweather sober enough to drive out there..
Regards to everyone Mark Smith,'74

Hey, Mark--what I want to know is if Starkweather will have another engagement later that night at the Sign of the Whale for the karoake contest! Some of the fun last year as the party worked its way into the evening was wondering if he'd make it on time.
Anyone who's on the fence out there about attending this year's reunion--if it's even half as great as last year you'll be sorry you missed it!
Hope to see lots of you there, Lois (Coltrin) Douthitt, '76

Hey Lois,
I'm sure "Blues Bob" will be singing somewhere the night of the reunion..Magill and I will make sure he gets there safely..I want Joe Cofer to know that I remember him and was looking for him last year. Joe, I always wondered about "the haircut" but I figured that you were either behind the times or ahead of the times! I hope Barb White will show up this year, no excuses about sickly neighbors..Vogel, you better be there too..see everyone in 13 days,
Regards Mark Smith, '74

Mark, I was behind the times, but hey, at least I'm consistent! Thanks for remembering. I look forward to seeing you again. Joe Cofer '76

Mark, I'm glad to know you're driving (I think). And Joe C--you definitely were ahead of the times, not behind them! Perhaps none of us knew it at the time...
Joe Fuller, I just noticed your post--I hope you and Karen show up; it will be great to see you again and meet her. (Do you know what ever happened to our friend Rob Greenberg?)
And, Craig, speaking of Sadie Hawkins dates, did you ever find the "real" Doug Sifford? I heard you were looking around. Jeez, I may actually still have the ridiculous skirt and peasant blouse I wore to one of those events.
I'm getting psyched about seeing everyone soon! Lois

Thanks Lois. I have found it puzzling over the years that my hair has drawn so much attention. I guess if you look at it, then all the guys are just now catching up ;D Based on some of the pictures I've seen, many have passed me by an gone straight to "naked heads" I look forward to seeing you, Joe '76 (P.S. If you check out the time I am doing this, I just finished substituting on a paper route, I'M GOING BACK TO BED NOW)

Lois - I left a message for the only Doug Sifford in switchboard.com that had a listed phone number, but I never heard anything back. Any one got other leads? I think there's a yearbook picture of you and Doug in your SH outfits. Ah, high school memories ... Cheers, Craig

Are you ready for the reunion of a bunch of middle-aged, surly-looking Marching Rams? I am. My spirit needs to see you fun-loving folk.
At least, I am hoping to come to this year but unfortunately it's not a given due to a sad family situation. If I don't make it, ask Elise or Shawn and they'll tell you what's up.
I am looking forward to catching up with friends, renewing friendships, and sharing stories. Thanks to all on the committee who are making this happen again this year, & especially Craig & Valerie for sharing your home, although it's too bad about the lack of indoor plumbing....tee-hee.
Drive safely & see you soon (hopefully) --
Barb
p.s. And, Mark, I DID have a sick neighbor last year. Truly, I did. The guy had a heart attack and I drove him to the hospital. I almost had one, too, in the process.
