So, I've finally joined this site. I'm looking forward to seeing some of you this weekend at the reunion. I do appreciate Craig, his family, and the planning committee for pulling this off. And, Craig, for creating this cool way to interact on the web.
It did my heart good to see that picture of Lunsford and Behrend. We loved them then, even though sometimes we didn't (!), and we love them now. They shaped our lives immeasurably.
Since then? How can I sum up 31 years? I can't. Generally life has been good. If you don't want to read more, that's about right.
Family: I have a 18 year old son who is creative and funny and he makes me laugh often (despite the normal parent-adolescent angst). I've been divorced for 10 years now. That's all okay. My son is finishing high school this next year.
Work: I'm in graduate school (for a 2nd Masters degree) this next year and I may stay and finish another program in the 3rd year. I'll see as this year progresses. I'll be a guidance counselor after this 2nd degree. I was an Executive Director of a local nonprofit organization for 7 years and worked in the nonprofit field for 14 years.
Other aspects of life: I'm taking yoga and I love it. I write poetry still and I live in a small college town which is a great place to live, although beyond the next year or so I may decide to venture forth somewhere else.
I wrote another email earlier and didn't post it right, so I hope you don't end up with two versions of this.
See some of you soon --

Hey Barb!
Thanks for your kind words and for the updates. Sounds like life is indeed good!
After we get through the craziness of the reunion event this weekend, I hope to get some time to revamp the website to make it easier for people to find one another, and to post updates. For a computer geek, I'm not so hot at website construction, but I'm getting there.
I also hope to post pix of the reunion event for all to see. Looking forward to seeing you this Saturday!
Cheers, Craig
